New way of packing 3M domes

We are preparing a new way of packing our 3M domes to maximize the ergonomics of the container loading space. This means that, for example, we can now pack 4 x 3M in a 6m container, or 8 x 3M in a 12m container. This significantly reduces unit sea freight costs. We suggest using this option for your orders - this applies especially to our sellers, institutions dealing with astronomy, as well as organized groups of private astronomy enthusiasts from the same region.

ScopeDome Driver 5.5.29

We would like to inform you that a new version of the ScopeDome Arduino card driver is available.

The most important two new features are:
- new firmware version (ver. 6.7),
- rebuilt Bad Weather sensor system.

The firmware has been recompiled with new modules for IP support. It is much more stable than previous versions. It's really worth installing it in your card.

The Bad Weather sensor has become configurable. Configuration options allow you to select many new weather conditions, such as: too high humidity, too low temperature, day/night. We have also improved cooperation with the popular AAG CloudSensor. It is now possible to read the relay status and Unsafe status transmitted by the sensor cloud log independently.

More information can be found in the Driver Manual on page 34.

Remote connection to our dome in Otivar (Spain)

We would like to inform that we will soon introduce the possibility of remote connection to our dome installed in Otivar (Spain). The offer is addressed to potential customers who would like to see the basic functions of the dome, which would help them make a decision and invest.If you wish to conduct a remote session, please send an e-mail to the following address: info@scopedome.com

The agreed session will be held using remote desktop software (e.g. AnyDesk, TeamViewer).

ScopeDome USB Cards no longer supported

We would like to inform you that at the beginning of 2024 we finished servicing ScopeDome USB cards - all versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.0 and 2.1. The current card service only covers ScopeDome Arduino cards.
