Where can I find the serial number of the dome?

The serial number of the dome is located on a circular sticker inside the dome, on a panel on the left side of the flap.

How to send the card to the service

First of all, you should attach a paper to the package with:
- a brief description of the damage
- return address for the courier and contact information (email, phone)
- serial number of the dome

Please always send us both parts of the card: Dome and Shutter.
Cards should be sent on plastic mounting plates. Just unscrew them completely from the walls of the dome after disconnecting all PlugAndPlay cable connectors.

Please take care of solid packaging - very often couriers treat packages very brutally which can cause damage to the mounting plates. To claim compensation from them for damage to the shipment is virtually impossible.

In the case of shipments from outside the European Union zone - it is necessary to consult with the courier company and determine how to mark the shipment as components for service - in order not to pay additional customs fees.

How to schedule a online (internet) service session?

First of all, you need to make an appointment with us via email for a specific date.
Convenient dates for us: are Monday - Friday around 12:00 UTC time. The session usually takes about 2h - depending on the problem to be solved.

In the email inquiring about the date, please provide:
- the serial number of the dome with its type, e.g. 4M123
- phone number with your name and surname
- a brief description of the problem

Usually your presence in the dome is required during the session, e.g. to disconnect some wire or reset the dome's power supply. Often I will ask you to show something through the camera or send a picture through WhatUp.

I try not to work on holidays or at night - but in justified cases you can ask for help via WhatsUp - if it is possible I will try to answer. However, the best form of communication is email: info@scopedome.com.

To carry out the service you must have:
- an Internet connection to the computer controlling the dome
- install anyDesk or TeamViewer on it

What are the fees for service sessions over the Internet?

For new ScopeDome users, the first service session is free of charge.
It is usually used to check the software configuration and operation of the dome after installation.

Each subsequent session will require a fee of 50Eu for each hour of operation started.
The most convenient and fastest way is to pay via PayPal, to the email address: info@scopedome.com.

After the session is completed - usually the next day we will issue an invoice for the service provided.
Please provide us with your invoice details via email.

ScopeDomes usage with diffrent electrical current standard

ScopeDome domes are normally designed for power supply within the European standard of 230VAC/50Hz. In order for them to operate in the 110VAC/60Hz standard, a special converter must be used.

How do we determine the shipping price for domes?

Land transport:

We ask customer to send us his zip code and we look for the best shipment offer on the market. Then agreed cost is added to the proforma invoice.

Sea transport:

- to the nearest seaport (CIF): We ask the sea freight agency about the best offer to book a space on the ship. The dome is delivered to the port where the customer cleares it by himself (or by the agent) and takes to its destination site.

- door to door (DAP): We ask the sea freight agency about the best offer to book a space on the ship. The dome is delivered to the port, the customer cleares it by himself (or by the agent), and after that the dome is released for delivery to its destination site.

Self-pickup:

The customer can pick up his dome from our manufacture or arrange land or sea freight by himself.

Dimensions of packed domes

2M dome is delivered completely preassembled on single pallete (LxWxH): 2,8 m x 2,2m. Its height depends on what tower type has been choosen by the customer:

- no tower: 1,5 m
- tower H80: 2,6 m
- tower H120: 2,8 m

2M dome with no tower and tower H80 fits 6m container i preassembled state. 2M/H120 system has to be dismantled on two parts dome + tower due to its height (container is too low). Weight ~ 300 kg

3M dome is delivered on single pallete (LxWxH): 2,8 m x 2,2m x 2,35 m or inside 6m container. Weight ~ 300 kg

3M Clamshell is delivered on three palletes: 3,0 m x 2,2m x 2,0 m or inside 12m container. Weight ~ 400 kg

4M dome is delivered on two palletes (single pallete dimensions 4,0 m x 2,2m x 2,0 m) or inside 12m container. Weight ~ 800 kg

55M dome is delivered using entire TIR loading space or inside 12m container. Weight ~ 1500 kg
